I was referred to Sara at Doie by my good friend Ashley, who got married in Ottawa a couple of years ago. She said that they were so soft and comfortable to wear, and that the quality was amazing. Well, Ash was right, and working with Sara was easy and effortless- she was so helpful with any questions about sizing or colours. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

These robes were absolutely the perfect gifts for my bridesmaids (and Mom)! I wanted to give them something unique that they could enjoy many times over, for years to come, not just for one day. All of the girls loved their robes! I felt so blessed that we were all together the morning of my wedding day. We had so much fun! We looked so cute and stylish while drinking our champagne, and getting our hair and makeup done. It’s a day I will never forget and everytime I wear my robe, it truly reminds me of one of the best days of my life!

“I was fortunate to have amazing sisters to stand beside me on my wedding and knew the Doie Robes would be a perfect gift.  I picked a variety of colors that would fit their personalities and I chose my favorite color, blue, so I could continue to wear it after the wedding.  They were the perfect attire for the relaxing morning and everyone looked beautiful in the robes with lovely Maui in the background.  I was so excited to find these robes and working with Sara made it easy and stress free.”

Brendan and I got married at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI on October 18, 2013.  We wanted a Fall New England wedding and it was the most magical day!  When I met Sara a year before our wedding, I knew these robes would be the perfect gift for my ladies and of course I had to get one for myself (Sadie’s my favorite).  The morning of the wedding, they were hanging up in Doie garment bags with a special note for each of them when they walked into the room.  It was really fun getting ready all together in our robes!  They are so soft and cozy and something that we’ll have for a long time.  Bonus…the girls were able to wear them over their dresses without revealing them to anyone on our way out of the hotel to the ceremony.

Sara is awesome and so easy to work with!  I highly recommend these robes because they’re such a thoughtful and useful gift and they photograph really well.  Every time I wear mine it brings back so many wonderful memories!!!

“My husband Brent and I were married on May 31, 2013 at the St. Regis Princeville on the beautiful island of Kauai. We were fortunate enough to have 30 of our closest friends and family members join in our wedding celebration and the day could not have been any more perfect.

Brent and I wanted to create a wedding that was clean and classy, yet relaxed and tropical. I was struggling with something to get my bridesmaids as a token of my appreciation for being part of our wedding when I came across the Doie robes online. I knew they were perfect the moment I saw them and fit the style of our wedding overall. I was overjoyed that Sara was able to get the handmade robes to me in plenty of time for me to transport them to Hawaii.

My bridal party included my twin sister Hillary, older sister Alison, and my best friend Sara. I gave them the robes the night before the wedding. They each wore the robes while getting ready in the room at the St Regis before the wedding and could not believe that the robes were as soft and comfortable as they are while still looking great.  They also made it super easy to transition from getting ready clothes to wedding dresses without messing up our hair.

When I received my photos from the wedding, I was again impressed with appearance of the robes in the photographs. They look beautiful on everyone and I would not have changed a single thing about them. I have used my robe many times since the wedding, not only on our honeymoon, but also at home and while traveling and think of the special occasion it represents each time I put it on.  I would definitely recommend these robes to brides looking for a fun, thoughtful, and useful present for their bridesmaids!”

Whit and I were married at the Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay, Jamaica in February of 2013 (the best time to escape a Chicago winter!)  95 of our friends and family joined us in Jamaica for the most memorable, fun-filled weekend.  When Whit and I were deciding on gifts for our bridal party we wanted to give them all really special gifts after all they were doing for us!  Doie Lounge robes were perfect.  I really had never seen anything like them, and I can’t even describe how comfy they are (I wear mine EVERY SINGLE DAY when I am getting ready, my husband jokes that I live in it, and he’s pretty much telling the truth!)

My bridesmaids absolutely loved these robes, and it was so fun to get ready in the robes all together.  My little sister called me last week and said thank you again for the robe as she uses it all the time (in fact she told one of her good friends to use Doie Lounge for her bridesmaid’s gifts). It makes me so happy that it is something that the girls can wear all the time and think of our awesome wedding weekend- truly a gift that keeps on giving.

Sara was an amazing vendor to work with…she responds quickly to emails, offers great suggestions and I received the robes extremely quickly- I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Sara and Doie Lounge– just the best!

Greg & I were married in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on January 16, 2013.  We were so very fortunate to have 65 of our closest family and friends join us and we had an amazing time spending the week with them all.  Although it rained our ENTIRE wedding day we refused to let it get us down and had such a great night we were all still dancing at 3 am!

I wanted to get my bridesmaids something that they could also use after the wedding and when I came across these robes I knew they were exactly what I was looking for.  They were perfect for lounging around in the suite while we were getting our hair and makeup done and were awesome to have with us for the rest of the vacation. I highly recommend these to destination brides!  We all used them throughout the entire week and I already know it will be coming with me to Thailand on our 1 year anniversary trip.  The quality of the robes is amazing, they are so soft and even after washing they look like new.  They are the perfect mix of sexy, comfy and pretty and I know I will use it for years to come.  Sara you’re the best!!

I got ready at the Four Seasons in San Francisco with my bridal party the morning of the wedding. Each bridesmaid was surprised with a robe upon entry into the suite. What a fun and unique way it was to thank my “maids” for being a part of this special day! They all looked stylish, and each robe brought out their individual personalities. We had such a great time in these robes taking candid pictures, with our amazing photographers, that we almost forgot to get ready for the wedding! I know each bridesmaid will cherish their robe for years to come, as I know I will… One of my fondest memories of the day is getting ready with my girls in our robes together. It was such a beautiful day!

David and I were married at TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, New Jersey on May 18th, 2013. I had seven bridesmaids, and I knew that I wanted to find them comfortable and beautiful robes to wear while we were getting ready. I discovered Doie Lounge and Sara through the Style Me Pretty blog, and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision to go with the Elena robes for my bridesmaids. Our wedding colors were green, white, and gray, so the colors were perfect. I loved them so much that I ordered a white one for myself! The fabric was so soft, and the inside tie makes sure your robe stays where it belongs! Sara answered my questions quickly, and it was a pleasure to work with her.

Mike and I were married at the Liberty House in Jersey City, NJ on April 6, 2013.   Our venue was right on the water and had the most spectacular views of Manhattan.  We were married outside with the city as our back scape; it was the ideal spring day.  Our entire wedding weekend was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

My bridesmaids gifts were definitely something that I put a lot of thought into.  My girls mean the world to me and have always gone above and beyond, not just during the wedding process.  I wanted their thank you gifts to be ones that were truly special and something that really showed how much I value and appreciate them in my life.  I always knew I wanted robes to be a part of the gift, it was just a matter of finding the “right” ones.  When I came across Doie Lounge robes, not only were the pictures gorgeous, but every one of the reviews were nothing but fantastic.  I was sold.  To top it off, working with Sara was effortless and enjoyable – she was responsive, so accommodating and helpful and simply, just pleasant!

And of course, the robes…those spoke for themselves! Everyone LOVED LOVED LOVEDDD the robes!!!  They were all so happy to not have to worry about what to wear while getting ready and also to have such an incredible new robe they could wear after the wedding!  They all couldn’t get over how soft and comfy and pretty they are!  Of course, I was very impressed and pleased as well.  It is now a staple in my wardrobe and even came along with me on our honeymoon!  The number of compliments I have received on the robes are countless (even based on pictures alone).  I continue to recommend Sara to everyone I meet (bride or not)!  Thank you so so much for everything!!

“I am SO happy I purchased these beautiful robes – they were the perfect gift for my bridesmaids!  Sara was so incredible easy to work with and was so flexible. Everyone was in a panic about what to wear the morning of – tank top, short, yoga pants – but they were so happy to open these gifts the night before! I chose white for myself, and wanted a matching look for all my maids. I was so happy to find an almost identical, but slightly different robe for my maid of honor to wear – it helped her stand out!

The robes looked stunning in our photos, and were so unbelievably comfortable to wear all day. Not only were they super comfy, but they felt so luxurious! People have already begun asking where I bought them – I will be recommending these to brides left and right! Thank you Sara, for giving us the most beautiful, perfect bridesmaid gifts!”

“The Doie robes were the perfect gift for my Bridesmaids. I was such a fan of them that I bought one for myself in white. These robes are beyond comfortable (the bamboo jersey  is so soft) and also look very luxurious! The robes look much better in pictures than sweatpants/tank tops do!

The navy blue/pink color combo is my favorite. The robes were so nice to get ready in looked great in pictures! I would highly recommend these robes to any bride-to-be for herself and her Bridesmaids. I have actually received a few emails from soon-to-be brides asking where I got these robes. They are gifts that can actually be used for a long time and your friends/family members will always remember your special day when they wear their robes!

I wear mine all the time. I even brought it on my Honeymoon!

Thank you, Doie!”

My bridesmaids and I enjoyed my last night as a single girl with a sleepover at the Boar’s Head Inn. When everyone woke up the morning of the big day, I asked the girls to climb into one of the bigger beds, still in their PJs and bleary eyed from our celebration the night before. I brought them each a different colored gift box. I had written personalized letters to each of my maids, and after reading, they unwrapped their matching Doie Lounge robes. They couldn’t have been more excited! No one could resist putting on their robe immediately – in fact, we traveled from the Inn to the venue in just our robes! They made for a great outfit to relax in while getting our hair and makeup done – as well as enjoying some pre-ceremony bubbly! – and made it so easy for them to transition into their bridesmaid dresses – and me into my gown.”

I had a small wedding party, just a maid and matron of honor, and I wanted to make them each a great “goodie bag”.  I am so thankful I came across Doie Lounge in my gift search.  I immediately loved the classy designs and beautiful colors (light aqua is my FAVORITE, so I just had to have it), and decided to immediately purchase a robe for each of my girls and myself.  I was glad to find something that wasn’t the “standard” monogrammed terry or waffle.  It was so nice to have something beautiful and comfortable to wear while we were lounging, drinking champagne, and getting ready on my wedding day.  My girls loved them and both commented that the design and weight was ideal and they were pumped to be taking them home.  Personally, I wear mine every day while getting ready.  Also, after seeing the great New Mom pics on the Doie website, I will be be sure to bring my beautiful robe with me to hospital room when we have babies!

Sara was great to work with and kept in touch throughout the whole process.  One of my ordered items was temporarily out of stock, and she immediately contacted me to see if I wanted to change items.  I had plenty of time before my wedding, so waiting was not an issue, but I definitely appreciated that she checked in.  While the tag suggests dry cleaning, I have had success machine washing and lying flat to dry, which makes it very convenient.

Craig and I were married on October 5, 2013 in Tampa Florida and I was thrilled to have my sister and 2 of my closest friends taking part in my wedding day. I really wanted to give my girls gifts that were beautiful and not something they would ordinarily buy for themselves, but also functional, both on the wedding day and everyday. I settled on luxurious spa robes. The dilemma I had was since the wedding was in Florida, it may still be pretty warm. I found the Doie robes on one of the various emails I received from wedding sites and was struck by how beautiful but how light they are. The girls loved them! The colors even matched our wedding day. I also treated my mom to a robe and got her’s just a little different to make her stand out. We all felt so pretty during hair and makeup appointments and made the whole day get off to a great start. Added bonus, my new husband loved how it look in mine!

“I wish that I had known about Sara Kirsner and her Doie Lounge robes from the moment I became engaged … it would have saved me months and months of agonizing over the perfect bridesmaids gifts. I was seeking just the right token for my favorite girls that I said “I appreciate you. I cherish you. I love you.” I wanted something that the girls could use for many years to come.  Sara’s robes were just that perfect gift. What was even more perfect was that I had no trouble selecting the colors as the the “elena” and “cosette” matched the wedding color scheme perfectly.  When I received the robes in the mail, in their lovely garment bags, I was delighted with the quality and luxury of the fabrics. These robes are so incredibly soft and cozy.

Geoff and I were married on the day that the first ice storm of 2013 decided to show up.  December 8, 2013, in Fairfax, VA. I was fortunate enough to have all of my five bridesmaids beside me all day as we prepared for the wedding.  The girls were presented with robes at our rehearsal dinner and they all arrived the day of the wedding, in their robes, ready for a morning of pampering and relaxation.

Sara was a dream to work with.  I was lucky to have reached out to her well in advance as the robes I was interested in were on back order … I certainly understand why they are so popular.  Sara got in touch with me immediately after placing my order to assure me that I would have my robes in plenty of time for our special day. When I received the order, Sara followed up with me regularly to make certain I was satisfied.  I was more than satisfied.  They were exquisite.

The robes photographed beautifully. I could not have been more pleased with the final product.  I wear my robe every morning and have gotten so many compliments from my bridesmaids who still enjoy wearing the robes.

“We had a very intimate June wedding in Iowa which we shared with immediate family and a few close friends.  I wanted to make sure everyone knew how happy we were that they could be with us on our day so picking the right gift for my girls was very important.  The Doie Lounge robes were the perfect mix of comfort and sophistication- everyone couldn’t stop talking about how soft they were and how much they loved the different patterns and colors.  Getting ready together in our robes was such a fun way to start a wonderful day I’ll remember always.”

“I was looking for the perfect treat for my special bridesmaids to thank them for all the love and support they have given to me. When I came across Doie Lounge robes I knew I’d found the perfect gift! On May 26th, my wedding day, my bridesmaids all rose early with me to go on a nice relaxing jog. After our jog we all took showers and slipped into our robes to enjoy a beautiful brunch and a really relaxing few hours before the big celebration. They day was perfect and the lovely (and so comfy) robes were a bit hit! And a big thanks to Sara, for the excellent customer service!”

“Our wedding day was incredible! We got married in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin on May 27, 2012. It was such a blessing to be surrounded by our favorite people during this special time. I gave these adorable Doie robes to my bridesmaids at my bridesmaid’s luncheon the day before the wedding. They were such a hit with my girls and the perfect touch when getting ready before the wedding. I know we will be wearing these robes for years to come – my pregnant bridesmaid is already talking about wearing hers while in the hospital when her little girl arrives!”

“Getting ready for the wedding festivities with my closest friends and family was one of my favorite parts of the day!  My bridesmaids loved their robes and they added to the excitement of our morning of hair and make-up.  Now, we all have our robes as a memory of the time we got to spend together!”

“One of my favorite things about getting married was having all of our favorite people together, for one very special evening.  And I love that I got to start the day with a fabulous rooftop luncheon for my best friends and close family.  My mother surprised us all with the beautiful Doie Lounge robes so we could primp and lunch in comfort and style!”

“This robe was a gift from my new sister Jenny! I loved it so much the minute she gave it to me that I couldnt wait a few months to wear it on my big day so I started wearing it immediately! It’s so soft…its like second skin and it’s so cute that I wish I could wear it out and about. My now “Husband” used to hate my old robe and even he loves this one. I wear it all the time and loved wearing it on my wedding day. It’s comfy but makes you feel good! It’s a little slice of heaven that everyone can have. Best gift for fam or friends or to spoil yourself with!”

“These Doie robes were a great gift for the girls in our wedding.  They are so pretty, comfortable, and something that all four of us will continue to use often, which is what I really wanted in a gift for the girls.  I also wore the robe every day on our honeymoon and my new husband loved it too.  I would definitely recommend these beautiful robes as gifts for any special women in your life!”

“I received this gorgeous Doie robe as a gift for my bachelorette party. It was so beautiful and I wore it the whole time my bridesmaids and I got ready for the day. Photos started at 3pm and we had to start hair and makeup at 9am, which made for a long day, for sure. But my Doie robe was so comfortable and lovely (an often rare combination) that it made me feel like a pretty bride all day. Thanks Doie!”

“I had high expectations for my bridesmaids gifts: I wanted to give something beautiful yet practical, something to be treasured but also to be used. So I was excited to come across a post on Martha Stewart’s wedding blog suggesting Doie Lounge robes as bridesmaids gifts. I loved that the robes are navy–the color of my bridesmaids’ dresses–and that I could give each one a robe with a different patterned trim. I loved the idea of these robes so much that I decided I had to have the white one for my own. My girls and I felt so luxurious getting ready in our robes on the day of the wedding. Thanks, Sara, for being so easy to work with, and for providing the perfect bridesmaid gift!”

“Easy glamor AND luxurious comfort… what every bride should have on her wedding day, and that’s just what the Doie robe provides.  I felt special and effortlessly put together while getting ready for my big day, and the robe was perfect for lounging during my honeymoon.  And now, whether I’m sipping coffee on a lazy morning or doing makeup before a big night out, I still get that same fabulous feeling when I slip into my robe.”

“Al and I were married on November 6th, 2010, in beautiful San Francisco.  I will never forget the morning of my wedding – I woke before it was light outside, I saw the sunrise over the Bay Bridge, I laughed and popped champagne bottles with my closest girls.  To thank my girlfriends for being my ultimate support system, I surprised them with lovely Doie Lounge robes.  They wore their black robes with Asian print and I wore my white robe with silver bonsai print.  My girlfriends raved about the robes.  They are made with the softest bamboo jersey, they have an adjustable interior tie and they are truly flattering on all body types.  Thank you, Sara from Doie Lounge, for helping me put together this perfect gift for my best friends on my wedding day.”

“I wanted to give my bridesmaids a creative, stylish, and useful gift and a Doie robe was the perfect option! I picked out a different robe for each bridesmaid to match their personal style. I even gave one to my mom and mother in law.  It was so fun to see everyone in their stylish yet comfortable robe when we were getting ready. I continue to wear my robe daily! Every time I slip it on it puts a smile on my face as I remember our magical and wonderful wedding day.”

“I received my Doie robe as a gift on my wedding day.  I quickly changed into it in the bridal suite, and felt glamorous and   comfortable while getting ready for my special day.  Pictures were taken and memories were made.  Two years later, while in the hospital after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, I was so glad to be wearing my Doie robe over my drab hospital   gown.  Three years after receiving my Doie robe, I still wear it every day.  This robe has been with me for two major   milestones.  It is my favorite robe and it is still as soft and comfortable as the day I got it.  Memories continue to be made  and I’m still wearing my Doie robe!”
