The wedding took place at The Resort at Pelican Hill on April 18, 2015. I treated my seven bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law, as well as myself to these amazing robes! Everyone was absolutely thrilled to receive incredibly soft and beautiful robes to spend the morning getting ready in. While choosing which robes to purchase, as there are so many on the market now it is almost overwhelming, I looked for something I knew everyone would look forward to wearing even after the wedding. It was important to me that the robes became a sentiment in each of their lives not just on my special day, but for years to come! We all could not have been happier with the Doie Lounge robes and I think the pictures show just how happy and beautiful the robes helped everyone feel on such an important day!

I was referred to Sara at Doie by my good friend Ashley, who got married in Ottawa a couple of years ago. She said that they were so soft and comfortable to wear, and that the quality was amazing. Well, Ash was right, and working with Sara was easy and effortless- she was so helpful with any questions about sizing or colours. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

These robes were absolutely the perfect gifts for my bridesmaids (and Mom)! I wanted to give them something unique that they could enjoy many times over, for years to come, not just for one day. All of the girls loved their bridesmaid robes! I felt so blessed that we were all together the morning of my wedding day. We had so much fun! We looked so cute and stylish while drinking our champagne, and getting our hair and makeup done in our bridesmaid robes. It’s a day I will never forget and everytime I wear my robe, it truly reminds me of one of the best days of my life!

Brendan and I got married at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI on October 18, 2013.  We wanted a Fall New England wedding and it was the most magical day!  When I met Sara a year before our wedding, I knew these robes would be the perfect bridesmaid gift for my ladies and of course I had to get one for myself (Sadie’s my favorite).  The morning of the wedding, they were hanging up in Doie garment bags with a special note for each of them when they walked into the room.  It was really fun getting ready all together in our robes!  They are so soft and cozy and something that we’ll have for a long time.  Bonus…the girls were able to wear them over their dresses without revealing them to anyone on our way out of the hotel to the ceremony.

Sara is awesome and so easy to work with!  I highly recommend these robes because they’re such a thoughtful and useful bridesmaid gift and they photograph really well.  Every time I wear mine it brings back so many wonderful memories!!!

Well what can I say? My girls absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED the robes. My sister was so happy to have it when she gave birth. All the girls could not stop talking about how beautiful they are.

The colors and pattern worked out PERFECTLY!! I love that my robe was white but not anything bridal related because I can use it forever and so can my girls. I took it with me on my honeymoon and it is just so perfect and comfortable. I cannot thank you enough for your outstanding customer service and high quality product!! A year and half later I am STILL getting compliments from my girls about how much they love their robes. You did an exceptional job with them!!

Clean and Classy

My husband Brent and I were married on May 31, 2013 at the St. Regis Princeville on the beautiful island of Kauai. We were fortunate enough to have 30 of our closest friends and family members join in our wedding celebration and the day could not have been any more perfect.

Brent and I wanted to create a wedding that was clean and classy, yet relaxed and tropical. I was struggling with something to get my bridesmaids as a token of my appreciation for being part of our wedding when I came across the Doie bridesmaid robes online. I knew they were perfect the moment I saw them and fit the style of our wedding overall. I was overjoyed that Sara was able to get the handmade bridesmaid robes to me in plenty of time for me to transport them to Hawaii.

My bridal party included my twin sister Hillary, older sister Alison, and my best friend Sara. I gave them the robes the night before the wedding. They each wore the bridesmaid robes while getting ready in the room at the St Regis before the wedding and could not believe that the bridesmaid robes were as soft and comfortable as they are while still looking great.  They also made it super easy to transition from getting ready clothes to wedding dresses without messing up our hair.

When I received my photos from the wedding, I was again impressed with appearance of the bridesmaid robes in the photographs. They look beautiful on everyone and I would not have changed a single thing about them. I have used my robe many times since the wedding, not only on our honeymoon, but also at home and while traveling and think of the special occasion it represents each time I put it on.  I would definitely recommend these bridesmaid robes to brides looking for a fun, thoughtful, and useful present for their bridesmaids!

Greg & I were married in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on January 16, 2013.  We were so very fortunate to have 65 of our closest family and friends join us and we had an amazing time spending the week with them all.  Although it rained our ENTIRE wedding day we refused to let it get us down and had such a great night we were all still dancing at 3 am!

I wanted to get my bridesmaids something that they could also use after the wedding and when I came across these bridesmaid robes I knew they were exactly what I was looking for.  They were perfect for lounging around in the suite while we were getting our hair and makeup done and were awesome to have with us for the rest of the vacation. I highly recommend these bridesmaid robes to destination brides!  We all used them throughout the entire week and I already know it will be coming with me to Thailand on our 1 year anniversary trip.  The quality of the bridesmaid robes is amazing, they are so soft and even after washing they look like new.  They are the perfect mix of sexy, comfy and pretty and I know I will use it for years to come.  Sara you’re the best!!

I got ready at the Four Seasons in San Francisco with my bridal party the morning of the wedding. Each bridesmaid was surprised with a robe upon entry into the suite. What a fun and unique way it was to thank my “maids” for being a part of this special day! They all looked stylish, and each robe brought out their individual personalities. We had such a great time in these robes taking candid pictures, with our amazing photographers, that we almost forgot to get ready for the wedding! I know each bridesmaid will cherish their robe for years to come, as I know I will… One of my fondest memories of the day is getting ready with my girls in our robes together. It was such a beautiful day!

Picking a color scheme was one of the first decisions I made while planning our September wedding and I went with a navy/bright pink combo.  My bridesmaids each picked their own navy style dress and all wore fuchsia colored heels and had bright pink/orange flowers.  When I stumbled upon Sara’s robes online and saw the Sadie color combination, I loved it!  It was our perfect colors and the perfect way to start off the morning of our wedding day.  I decided to give them as gifts for my bridesmaids (and mom).  The robes were so comfortable and easy to throw on the morning of (and we had an early start for a noon wedding!)  And I loved wearing the robe at our honeymoon too.

Working with Sara was wonderful.  She was so responsive with my sizing and price questions and delivered on time, even when I was in the middle of a move.  I wanted a robe for our flower girl, who is only 3 and since Sara doesn’t make robes toddler sized she pointed me to other great options and my niece fit right in with us!  I was so happy and felt so blessed to have my family and closest friends getting ready with me the morning of our special day, in the beautiful Doie robes.

Absolutely Perfect

The robes were absolutely perfect! So comfortable and perfect to wear while getting ready. The ladies loved them. I gave them personalized hangers with their names for the bridesmaids and hangers with mother of the bride and mother of the groom for the moms, mine said Ali <3 Dylan. It was honestly one of my favorite things. I couldn’t wait to give it to them! My colors were navy, grey, with a little white and pink, so the style of the robes worked perfectly.
