“I got married on October 6, 2012 at the crossings in carlsbad, ca. I wanted to get my bridesmaids something special and something they could use after the wedding, and these robes were perfect! They were so soft, comfortable, and flattering on everyone!  While we were hanging out eating and getting our hair and make up done, we also got some great memorable photos. That time I got to spend with all of my closest friends really helped keep me calm before walking down the aisle. And now I have a keepsake that I can actually use from my wedding day! {Excited About} Cloud Parade

As I write this we are at a cruising altitude of 30,000 feet and I am looking at a literal cloud parade below, but what I’m really excited about is the virtual Cloud Parade on my computer right now (thank you in-flight WiFi)!

Cloud Parade is a new online market place for the hip and trendy bride or groom to design and shop for their wedding all in one place. I was so beyond excited when the owners approached me to have Doie Lounge robes open a shop up on their site. Now brides and bridesmaids can add our robes to their “clouds.” Clouds are almost like wedding Pinterest boards, but even better because you can visually plan your wedding and then buy everything in one place.

They make searching easy too. Planning a grey, “hipster,” wedding? Just click on the grey icon and the moustache (hipster) icon and up pops all of the ideas and products that fall into those categories. Genius! Check out their new video on Vimeo—it will tell you everything that you need to know about planning your ultimate wedding in the coolest and easiest way possible.

Gray Expectations

“I married my high school sweetheart on September 2nd in Chicago, but I was already thinking about gifts for my bridesmaids way back in the spring.  I contacted Sara about sizing and she was extremely helpful (and it turns out choosing the sizes wasn’t complicated at all).  Our wedding colors were white and gray, so it was easy for me to choose the Elena for my bridesmaids (and the Lillian for myself!).  I was really pleasantly surprised by how soft the robes are.  Like all brides, I can only hope my bridesmaids will want to wear their dresses again, but I feel confident that they’ll wear their robes again!”

Special Touch

“I was married on October 27, 2012 in picturesque St. Helena, California.  Getting ready for the biggest event of my life was surreal–in the best way, of course.  It was a crisp, sunny fall day.  The kind you really only get in Northern California.  I preened and primped in my family’s home nestled in the vineyards just feet from where my now husband got down on bended knee and asked for my hand the December before….I was surrounded by my two very favorite girlfriends.  One a college roommate; the other a fabulous friend who also happens to be Sara’s cousin (it was in fact Sara who had the brilliant idea of connecting us when life’s twists and turns had us both living in DC after college).  I could not imagine a more magical morning shared with more beautiful women on a more momentous day.  Being robed in Doie was by far the most special touch.  We were all so incredibly comfortable and felt so pretty.  I am forever grateful to Sara and Doie for making my pre-wedding “getting ready” hours even more amazing.  And we’ve been enjoying our robes every day since then.  Mine brings back the most wonderful memories and will for years to come!”

A Cozy Classic

“I was married on September 22, 2012 in Long Island, NY, the first official day of fall and I knew it would be starting to get a little cooler so I wanted to find something simple, classic and cozy to find for my bridesmaids to wear while we were getting ready and relaxing. I came across these robes on the Style Me Pretty blog last year and they were the first wedding related purchase I made! The robes were backordered but when I emailed Sara, she responded immediately and informed me of the date the robes would be shipped and they showed up right on time…they matched my color scheme and looked great on everyone. I was hoping that the girls would be able to wear them in their everyday life and was so happy when I saw the robe on my maid of honors bathroom door when I visited her new apartment! They are the perfect gift!”

“My Bridesmaids and I can’t say enough about how much we love these robes. Sara is great to work with and the robes are fantastic! Not only did I get one for all my bridesmaid, but I got one for my Sister-in-Law to wear on her wedding day. The white robes are so beautiful for brides, but I chose blue as my something blue. They are the perfect mix of comfort and elegance which is exactly the way you want to feel on your wedding day. Lounging in Paradise

“I got married on the 17th November 2012 in Bora Bora, Tahiti. I decided early on that I wanted a small and intimate wedding so a destination wedding seemed like the perfect option for me. We were joined by our immediate families and a close friend. The day was absolutely perfect with a stunning backdrop. Despite having planned the wedding without having seen the place everything went exactly to plan thanks to my remarkable wedding planner. Getting ready for the ceremony with my sister was a very special time for us and very exciting. It was great having the Lilian robe to wear . It was so light and comfortable even in the tropical heat. It also looked great. The robe was one of the first items I purchased for the wedding after I saw it on Style me Pretty. I was initially concerned I would not be able to have it posted to Australia but Sara was great and sorted it all out right away. The Lilian robe was also great during the honeymoon to throw over the bikini to keep the sun off and is so comfortable it will get a lot of use for years to come”
